DATA PROTECTION NOTICE
Volt Bolt Kft. as the data controller (hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller) and as the operator of the szigetstore.com website (hereinafter referred to as the Webshop) performs the handling of the data made available by its clients (hereinafter referred to as the Customer) in accordance with the content of this Data Protection Notice (hereinafter referred to as the Notice), pursuant to the provisions of Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on the Freedom of Information (hereinafter referred to as the Info Act).

Data processing is performed by the internal staff of the Data Controller and during the processing of the information it will be disclosed solely to them.

The Data Processors shall perform data processing in accordance with the instructions of the Data Controller, they cannot make substantial decisions about data processing, they may only process the personal data disclosed to them in accordance with the provisions of the Data Controller, they cannot perform data processing for their own purposes, and they are obliged to store and keep the personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Data Controller. During data processing the data may be disclosed to the internal staff of the data processors.
The legal base of the Data Processing is the consent given by the Customer through his/her voluntary and informed statement made during registration and ordering by accepting this Notice.
The Data Controller may manage the natural identification data, place of residence, email address and telephone number necessary for the identification of the Customer which is provided by the Customer upon registration for the purposes of concluding a contract with the Customer, along with determining and amending the content of such a contract, monitoring the fulfilment of such a contract and invoicing the resulting fees, enforcing the related claims, as well as for the purposes of using the Webshop by the Customer and for making general information available to the Customer. Handling of such data is technically essential to fulfil the service provided by the Data Controller.
Should the Customer provide explicit and specific consent, the Data Controller may perform data processing also for the purposes of sending advertisement materials to the Customer in accordance with the provisions of Act XLVIII of 2008 on the Basic Requirements of and Certain Restrictions on Commercial Advertising Activities. The Customer, by using the link included in newsletters or by contacting the Data Controller, can prohibit the Data Controller from sending any further advertisement materials at any time.
The Customer provides his/her information at the time of registration or subscription for the newsletter, and the Data Controller manages such data starting from that point until the Customer deletes his/her account or unsubscribes from the newsletter. The data may be deleted or the Customer may be unsubscribed at any time upon the Customer’s request, as set forth in this Notice.
Based on accounting regulations, the Data Controller shall be obliged to keep the accounting documents and as such the data serving as a basis for the registration for eight years, pursuant to Section 169, Subsection (2) of Act C of 2000.
The Data Controller must perform data processing in such a way that it can ensure the protection of the privacy of everyone concerned. The Data Controller must protect the data especially from unauthorised access, modification, forwarding, disclosure, deletion or destruction, as well as accidental destruction or damaging, and also from becoming inaccessible due to a change in the technology used.
Upon registration, the Customer must provide the following information: gender, surname,
first name, place of residence, email, and password.
The Customer may request that the Data Controller provide information about the processing of the Customer’s data, correct the personal information, or delete or block the information. The Customer may object to the processing of his/her personal information. Upon the Customer’s request, the Data Controller must provide information about the Customer’s information which it manages or processes, the source of such data, the purpose, legal base, duration of processing the data, the name, address and data processing-related activities of the data processor, and – in the case of transferring the Customer’s personal data – the legal base and recipient of the data transmission. The Data Controller, upon the Customer’s request, must provide the requested information in writing within the shortest possible time reckoned from the time of submission of the request, but within 25 days – within 15 days in the case of an objection – at the latest.

Should the Customer have any complaint in connection with data processing or experience any infringement of his/her rights, the Customer may bring the matter before the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (H-1125 Budapest, Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 22/C.) or the competent court.
